The Nottinghamshire Lieutenancy
The Nottinghamshire Lieutenancy supports His Majesty the King and the Royal Family in the County. The Lieutenancy is also a ‘bridge-builder’, connecting individuals, charities, businesses and networks, to enhance everyone in the Nottinghamshire community’s opportunities and sense of belonging.
This site will inform and update you about how His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire and Deputy Lieutenants can support you or your organisation, acting as a conduit to the Royal Family, the National Honours and Awards Systems, giving recognition to individuals, voluntary service, faith groups, charitable organisations and businesses.
Together with its prime duty to uphold the dignity of the Crown, The Lieutenancy also wishes to promote Nottinghamshire, its people, culture, diversity, heritage and history by serving the community and encouraging engagement, voluntary service and achievement across all groups and sectors.
